As the weather cools down and the days get darker, we're filled with hope for new beginnings and amazing possibilities. At Aspire Soccer Development, we're ready to enhance our programs and activities to better serve our wonderful community. Today, we invite you to share your input on what you'd like to see this winter!

Last season, we made significant improvements to our offerings, and now we're thrilled to present a fresh lineup of programs. Our goal is to challenge our players and create memorable experiences. To ensure we’re meeting your needs, we’re conducting a series of two polls to gather your thoughts and preferences. Your feedback will help shape our future activities to align with your interests.

PROGRAMS OVERVIEW

Here is an overview of what each program entails. Building on our current sessions and aiming to introduce a new challenge, we’re considering launching a four-team league with two possible formats for our U12-U14 Age Group:

Competitive - High Commitment (Full Field Games) (U12-U14 ONLY)

Futsal League (General) – This league will feature four teams competing weekly, with minimal training before the games. Your standard house league drop-in and play with a team. We will give you some time to warm up on your own or spend time getting to know other players.

Futsal League (Hybrid) – This version will also include four teams, but they will have a designated period to train and develop team chemistry before competing in regular matches. This would be the best way to learn how important team work is and you will all be building together as a group and compete with them. This will include team drills etc..

What to Expect!

  • Jerseys will be provided as part of the package for the leagues, and players are expected to commit as much as possible to the league because the teams will be smaller (Average 8-9 players on each). Standard 5v5 Futsal format.

  • To ensure teams are fair and balanced we will be spending 3 weeks evaluating and training the players and put them with players who they can develop chemistry with.

  • The matches would be the standard timing of 20 minutes each half, with a break in-between.

Our skills development programs will look to break down into either progression or drop-in. This is what our players are doing right now. Below describes both variations.

Development - Low-Med Commitment (U7-U9 & U10-U14)

  1. Skills Development (Progression - Medium Commitment) – In this option, players will work collectively on specific areas of the game, improving together over time through structured sessions. (Similar to what our current groups are doing).

  2. Skills Development (Drop-In - Low Commitment) – This format allows players to work on their skills without the need to commit to a long-term program, offering more flexibility.

All approaches provide valuable opportunities for growth, and we’re excited to see which direction participants prefer.
